Tuition, Expenses, and Scholarships

Integrative Health & Lifestyle program (IHeLp) tuition is $4,959.23. However, the total cost of the program is dependent on the time the holding fee is received. Below are the dates which define the change in cost. Tuition covers the entire 6-month online program and attendance of the Tucson education retreat (travel/hotel and some meals are not covered and are the student's responsibility).

IHeLp 2019 Summer: starting online January 14, 2019, 4-day educational retreat May 19-22, 2019, program completion in July 2019.
Eligibility to apply for IH Coaching certification that begins November 2019

Regular Application: October 16, 2018 – December 17, 2018 | Holding Fee: $429.67

Late Application: December 18, 2018 – January 21, 2019 | Holding Fee: $859.34

Additional Expenses

Other expenses: there are other costs not included in tuition: computer hardware and internet access charges, recommended and optional text books, and lodging, travel and meal expenses for retreat in Tucson, for example. Some meals at the retreat (breakfasts, lunches and some dinners) are covered by tuition.

The following illustrates potential retreat expenses:

Payment Options

We offer three payment options so you can plan and budget accordingly for the 6 months of study. Payments may be structured in one of the following ways:

1 payment$4,959.23 - Total payment is due first week of program
2 payments$2,579.62 - Payment is divided by two. Initial half is due first week and remaining half is due the twelfth week of program
6 monthly payments$876.54 - Tuition is divided into 6 payments. Each payment is due on the 20th of each month (with fees)

Scholarships

IHeLp 2019 Summer

The Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine is offering a number of scholarships of $1,500 each for the Integrative Health & Lifestyle program (IHeLp) to eligible health care professionals. Fellowship eligible participants are not eligible to apply for a scholarship. You are not eligible for a scholarship if your institution is sponsoring you.

The Scholarships

Integrative Health Care Team

Seeking passionate conventional health care professionals who are not actively practicing integrative patient care. This scholarship is open to any IHeLp eligible health care professional. .

Nursing: The Bridge to Integrative Health

Supporting nurses who are passionate about integrative health care. We are looking for dedicated professionals and leaders in the field of nursing.

Beyond Nutrition Scholarship

Supporting the Registered Dietitian and Certified Clinical Nutritionist to integrate, not only the body, but also the mind and spirit in patient care.

Alumni Referral Scholarship

Supporting the development of integrative health care teams and encouraging collaboration amongst our IHeLp and Fellowship graduates to change the way health care is practiced.

The Sampson Pittsburgh Scholarship

The Sampson Foundation is offering a limited number of partial tuition based scholarships up to $5,000 each for the Integrative Health and Lifestyle program (IHeLp) to eligible health care professionals. This unique opportunity is for allied health care professionals who practice in Pittsburgh, PA and have a strong desire to educate patients and their community in evidence-based integrative health and lifestyle approaches to health and prevention addressing the whole person; body, mind, and spirit.

Steps to Follow

  1. APPLY and be accepted to the IHeLp 2019 Summer class.
  2. Your acceptance notification will contain a url to access the online scholarship application.
  3. Submit a 500-word essay that demonstrates the impact you will have in your community by completing the program. Please ensure your full name and the name of the scholarship you are applying for is on your essay.
  4. Alumni Referral Scholarship applicants are required to submit a letter from the Alumni member who referred you to the program and endorsing your application to IHeLp.
  5. Complete and submit your scholarship application by Thursday, November 29, 2018.
