Scholarships

IHeLp 2024 Scholarships

Due to the generosity of our donors, the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine (AWCIM) is offering a limited number of scholarships up to $3,500 for the Integrative Health & Lifestyle program (IHeLp) to eligible health care professionals for our class which begins in January 8, 2024.

Scholarships

As a Center, we value the contribution of students from varied communities. Not only does this promise to enhance our educational environment, but also translates into delivering integrative health knowledge to marginalized, under-represented, and under-resourced communities. We recognize the need for the insights and perspectives of health professionals who both come from and serve these populations. These voices are critical to addressing the inequities in health care, the growth of integrative health and medicine, and decreasing health disparities.

1440 Scholarship – Up to $1,250

The 1440 Foundation scholarships will be awarded to select healthcare professionals who self-identify as under-represented in medicine and healthcare and currently work with underserved populations.

Sampson Scholarship – Up to $3,500

The Sampson Foundation scholarships will be awarded to select healthcare professionals who currently work with underserved populations. The Sampson Foundation prefers that these scholarships also go to those who self-identify as under-represented in medicine and healthcare.

General Scholarships - Up to $1,500

These scholarships will be awarded to applicants who convey their motivation, describe the potential to impact their community, practice, and beyond with this integrative health and lifestyle education, and who express significant financial need.

Eligibility

These scholarships will be awarded to IHeLp-eligible applicants who have been accepted to the matriculating IHeLp class, which begins online in January 8, 2024

If you meet the qualifications for the scholarships and would like to join the next IHeLp class:
