Amelia Villagomez, MD is board certified in General and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry and graduated from AzCIM in Fall of 2015. She has also completed certification in Mind Body Medicine through the Center for Mind Body Medicine. She trained in General Psychiatry at Yale-New Haven Hospital and completed a Child/Adolescent Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Arizona and the University of Saskatchewan. Her publications include work in the area of integrative treatments for adolescent depression and micronutrient deficiencies in patient with symptoms of ADHD. She is currently co-directing a pilot study tailoring the AzCIM curriculum for psychiatry residents. Her private practice is located in Saskatoon, Canada.
