Diane Clawson, DO

Fellowship Residential

Diane Clawson received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon graduation, Diane completed a traditional osteopathic rotating internship in Erie, Pennsylvania. She then completed one year of training in psychiatry follwed by residency training in pediatrics at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Before joining the pediatric research fellowship in Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the University of Arizona, she worked briefly as a locun tenens physician at a community health center in Connecticut.

Diane was drawn to osteopathic medicine because of its holistic philosophy and the importance of touch in its practice. Of particular interest to her is the role of touch and manual medicine on the neurodevelopment of children, as well as its healing effects in general.

Diane's outside interests include the outdoors, exercise, films (especially foreign), travel, and spending time with friends.
